The Tour

Thanks to Metropolis for the generous and gentle support.
The Tour was filmed on an abandoned boat in a harbour of Copenhagen in May/June 2024. Adam found this boat on a residency at Metropolis festival. Strangely attracted to it, he went to visit this boat every day, filmed and wrote there to grasp the mystery of the place.

»I go to the place, I look at the thing, I film and I write.
Somehow, I start to insist. I think about what makes me go to the boat everyday. I come up with the idea that it is, because I want to prove that no matter where you are, no matter how insignificant and everyday it is where you are, there can be a place to connect with, a world you are in. I find this thought beautiful. I know it can easily be countered by other thoughts: It is not true, that it doesn’t matter where you are. Especially when you are on a boat. The boat has been everything, a death camp, an escape. But still, I want to express my feeling on this abandoned boat as one place containing the whole world.« (Journal, June 2024)
